Sam is Senior Pastor of Northside, a multi-site community meeting at Crows Nest and Turramurra on Sydney's lower north shore. He leads with a heart for helping people discover faith, community and purpose, and for reaching those who would not normally consider church. Northside describes itself as real people exploring faith together, where honest questions are welcome at any stage of belief. Part of Churches of Christ NSW, Fresh Hope and the Irresistible Church Network. Sam hosts SMC 2026.

Geoff is Lead Pastor of The Lakes Church in Cairns, and the coordinator behind this year's gathering. He is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow as followers and experience honest Christian community, and about making the Bible accessible for everyday life. Before leading The Lakes he served in a range of ministry and leadership roles. Geoff is married to Laura, who serves alongside him as Teaching Pastor, and together they are building a healthy, outward-looking church.

He stepped into the senior role in 2013 after eighteen years as the church's youth minister, so he leads with deep roots in the community he serves. His passion is the local church, building community and developing leaders. A follower of Jesus who loves a barbecue, fishing and the footy, Rod is married to Leanne and they have three sons, Lewis, Noah and Jackson.

He brings more than twenty years of pastoring, teaching and leadership, having served as a youth pastor, Bible college lecturer and senior pastor. Originally from Montreal, Andrew moved to Australia in 2005 with his wife Donna, and they settled in Geelong. They have two daughters, Olivia and Abigail.

The church traces its roots to 1959 and has grown steadily through several moves to its current Lakes Road home.
